Only Names, Phone Numbers, Email addresses and passwords are obtained and retained for the purpose of providing services and invoicing. No other information is obtained or retained, unless specifically required for provision of services.
No information is passed to any other organisation without your written permission, or legal request.

Contact details and passwords will be collected and retained for no longer than is necessary. I will review all stored data on a 6 monthly basis to consider whether document retention is required. This is scheduled and diarised for March & September.

All information is managed and treated in confidence in accordance with the Data Protection Act. As a non-profit business I am not registered with the Information Commissioners Office, due to exemption.

Cookies generated by benico.biz. eUKhost and tawk.to are not used in any way by Benico Enterprises.

Third Party Assistance

Some services may be provided with the assistance of other companies. Such details will be published when and if necessary. Third party service providers services may be used without any requirement for the identity of this service provider to be published in any way, especially if no personal information is being shared.

Where services are provided all efforts are made to ensure that all information is accurate, clear and legally acceptable. Errors will sometimes occur and these will be corrected at the earliest possibility.

Charges

Prices as subject to change at any time and may vary depending on your specific requirements.
Charges will be agreed in advance of any contract.

I could charge a lot more for my services but I'm trying to enjoy this work as a hobby as well as providing affordable services for small businesses, as well as making a fair profit for my time spent.

My Charging Rates:
1st Apr 2004 - £10 per hour
1st Apr 2010 - £12 per hour
1st Apr 2021 - £15 per hour
1st Oct 2023 - £20 per hour
1st Sep 2024 - fixed prices per project type, max £25 per hour
15th Mar 2025 - services quoted as required, at Sep 2024 rate

Timeline History

  • 2003 - Voluntary project for a Cats Protection shelter. Starting with no experience, my first project was created with MS Word and Yahoo Geocities, copying design ideas from their earlier website
  • 2004 - Benico Web Design, at benico.org.uk - Hosted at CN Hosting.
    Using Frontpage to provide slightly improved, although still very basic, table based websites
  • 2006 - The OY Web Design, at oy2.biz - replaced benico.org.uk - Hosted at eUKHost
  • 2008 - Benico Enterprises - using Dreamweaver to provide continued improvements to design and features
    Closure of all OY Web Design customer projects due to other commitments.
  • 2010 - Launch of Benico Enterprises, at benico.biz - shared on oy2.biz server.
    oy2.biz pages merged into benico.biz 2011-2013
  • 2015 - New server for benico.biz (Sole Trader domain). Closed oy2.biz (Partnership domain)
    Websites designed using Mobirise from 2019.
  • 2022 - Launch of uklotterysyndicate.co.uk, previously part of benico.biz (lottery.benico.biz)
  • 2023 - Launch of The Office Connection, at Benico Enterprises, adding Laptop Services (June) & Accounting (December)
    Merged into benico.biz in April 2025
